Holograph "testimony" with annotations and changes, to the President of the United States and members of Congress from Strang, George J. Adams and William Marks. In the testimony Strang describes the history of the persecution of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints,including the murder of Joseph Smith and other members, and their expulsion from lands in Illinois and Missouri that they purchased from the government. In retribution for the crimes committed against them, Strang asks that the Saints be given all the uninhabited land on the islands in Lake Michigan and that the Government cease to sell the land to other persons. In addition, he appeals to the government to condemn and punish their persecutors. The testimony is signed by Strang and dated at Buffalo, New York, 1850 Apr 6.
